The Deafness Resource Centre supports a number of Self-Help and Social Groups operating from both the Centre and venues across Halton.

Deafness can be very isolating particularly in older people, so the opportunity to socialise and meet with people is very important and can have a very positive effect on confidence and well being. It is also positive to share your own experience of deafness and listen to others with similar issues – a problem shared is a problem halved

New members are always welcome to join any of the groups; how often and for how long is entirely up to you and you are welcome to bring a friend or family member if this helps.
