Deaf Awareness Week 2018
Deaf Awareness Week ran from Monday 14th May to Sunday 20th May 2018, this is a national campaign set up by the UK Council on Deafness to raise the profile of deaf issues, sign language and increase awareness within the wider community. The Deafness Resource Centre hosted a range of sessions and drop-ins during the week to raise awareness.
During the week we sold raffle tickets and held various competitions, winning numbers for the raffle will be posted on our social media sites and winners will be contacted. The proceeds from raffle tickets and donations during the events will go towards the continuing development and expansion of our services across St Helens and Halton.
We have been incredibly lucky to receive prizes from generous organisations both in Merseyside and the wider area.
We would like to say a massive thank you to our sponsors and thank you to everyone who got involved in our events.
With special thanks to…
